We’re not sure why some of Montana’s best steakhouses are located in the middle of nowhere, but we’re not complaining–they’re always worth the trip. Marysville House is no exception. We’d go as far as to proclaim it one of the best steakhouses on Earth.

You’ll find Marysville House at 153 W Main St. in Marysville, which has a population of 80.

Marysville House Facebook This building dates back to the late 1800s. It was once the “Silver City” Great Northern Railroad Station, back when Silver City was a bustling mining town. When the train stopped running, this building stayed vacant until 1975, when it was purchased by a longtime resident of Marysville.

The current dining room was the freight and baggage room of the train station, and the bar was the place for passengers and the Station Master.
