You’ll find Lions Park just a few miles north of downtown, and it’s the perfect place to stop for a quick break to stretch your legs and get your bearings.

The park includes a 2.5-mile-long path that takes you along the banks of the Colorado River. It’s a nice, shady stroll that’s paved and perfect for everyone to enjoy.

You’ll soon come to this beautiful bridge. Constructed in 2014, it crosses the Colorado River, and follows along for a scenic stroll or bike ride.

The bridge is part of a larger network of trails that takes you to Arches National Park, Dead Horse State Park, and Canyonlands National Park.
