There’s a lot of history in New Hampshire, but our favorite variety includes food. In fact, our favorite everything includes food. While you can’t really go wrong with a diner, there are some that stand out above the rest. This one, in the Paramount-style, was actually moved to New Hampshire from New Jersey and we should all feel pretty great that it’s something we don’t need to travel to New Jersey to visit!

Lindy’s Diner in Keene rolled into town from Haledon New Jersey back in 1961. In fact, most of the folks in town watched it being delivered!

Over the years it has changed hands only a few times and each time it landed with folks who knew they needed to keep the tradition running. It’s even become a must-visit by political candidates on the campaign trail.

Ronald Reagan, George H. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have all been here! But, of course, the most important thing is the menu and that’s one of the best in town!
