There’s no better way to appreciate the world of nature than by getting out and strolling through the plants and flowers of a botanical garden. The pretty pathways meander through a colorful world of collaboration between Mother Nature and man, and delight visitors, young and old. There’s a beautiful garden in Omaha that you’ll want to visit soon; not only does it have acres of gardens, but there’s a Lego Sculpture Garden featured there this spring that’s really something special.

Lauritzen Gardens got its start in the mid-1980s. Throughout the years, it’s grown and improved, and now it welcomes more than 220,000 visitors every year. The gardens also has more than 12,000 members and 250 volunteers. You’ll find it in Omaha.

When you plan your visit, allow plenty of time to wander through the 100-acre gardens. You’ll find more than a dozen different areas, each highlighting particular plants and flowers.

…and the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory maintains lush, tropical plants year-round. The 17,500-square-foot area features everything from oak trees to azaleas, as well as temporary exhibits and art displays.

Visitors won’t want to miss the Nature Connects: Art With Lego Bricks exhibit, which runs from January 18 through May 10, 2020.
