While New Jersey may have a massive craft beer scene, we also take our wine very seriously. At one point, we were home to over 100 wineries. Unfortunately, many of these were shuttered forever during Prohibition. In recent years, the wine scene has been flourishing and you can currently find over 50 wineries and vineyards in New Jersey. These wines are among the best in the world, with South Jersey’s Outer Coastal Plain having the same climate and soil as the Bordeaux region in France. You really can’t go wrong when visiting a Garden State winery but if you’re looking for something a little different, head to Cream Ridge Winery.
Cream Ridge Winery opened to the public in 1988.
