Recently, the company acquired a beautiful new warehouse, and you can buy their tasty products online… so today, we’re giving Ila’s Foods a well-deserved shout-out.
Ila’s Foods is located in Tumwater, where it got its start at local Farmers Markets.
Ila’s Foods / Google The company was technically founded by Debra, but it was made to honor her mother, Ila, and her famous jam recipes. Ila passed away in 2000, but one of her dreams was to jar and sell her famous salad dressing.
Debra was a teacher in North Thurston Public Schools. Teaching was always her passion, but she unfortunately had some health issues, and her job wasn’t waiting for her when she felt healthy again.

While the company is best known for its jams and jellies, it was Ila’s famous bleu cheese salad dressing that really put them on the map.

Ila’s Foods has since expanded to include 80 more products to their offerings.

Each creation uses fresh, local ingredients whenever possible.
