For days, I’ve been hearing whispers of a Blue Angels and Thunderbird flyover across New Jersey. It’s finally official, and it’s happening SOON. Here’s what you need to know:
When?
Clarence Alford/Pixabay The 40-minute flight over North Jersey and New York will begin at noon on Tuesday, April 28th. The 30-minute flight over South Jersey and Philadelphia will begin at 1:45 p.m. the same day.
Where?
AFThunderbirds/Twitter The North Jersey flight will begin near the George Washington Bridge and will head south along the Hudson River, flying over parts of Bergen, Hudson, Union, and Essex Counties, including Newark.
AFThunderbirds/Flickr The South Jersey flight will begin at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The jets will fly northwest towards Trenton, south towards Camden, over Philadelphia, and then back into New Jersey near Haddonfield, Deptford, and Swedesboro before crossing into Delaware.
