Have you ever observed a meteor shower? This spring, Ohioans will have the perfect opportunity to do so. The 2020 Lyrid meteor shower will light up the night across the country from mid to late April—and you can view it right here in the Buckeye State. Here’s what you need to know:
The 2020 Lyrid meteor shower will light up the darkness between April 16 and 26, featuring up to 100 meteors per hour.

Here in Ohio, the Lyrid meteor shower will peak on the night of April 21 and early morning of April 22.

The Lyrid meteor shower originates from a constellation known as Lyra (pictured).
