Poke, delicious diced and seasoned raw fish, has been a staple in Hawaii for decades. It’s become more popular on the mainland in recent years, and for that, we are thankful. Recently, Yelp listed their top 100 restaurants in the U.S. for 2020, and we weren’t surprised to see Hometown Cafe and Poke Bar on the list. This charming little eatery will turn you into a poke fan.
Located in Providence’s diverse Mount Hope neighborhood, Hometown Cafe and Poke Bar opened in 2017.

Becca and Tiffany met at a corporate gig, promptly becoming friends and eating their way around the world.

The menu consists mainly of bowls that blend traditional Hawaiian poke with healthy Californian cuisine.
