So when MSN Lifestyle released a list of the best hidden gem in every state, we weren’t surprised to see the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas as their pick for Montana. If you’re a Montanan and you have yet to discover this gorgeous and peaceful place, make this the year you go.
The Garden of One Thousand Buddhas is located in Arlee, which is technically on the Flathead Indian Reservation.

The garden is spread over 10 acres of land, and it’s absolutely stunning.

While the site certainly has its Buddhist leanings, you certainly don’t have to be Buddhist to enjoy it.

It is fortunate because it is believed that 1,000 Buddhas will be born and attain enlightenment so they can enlighten us. This place was created as a symbol of peace, inclusivity, and embracing all cultures and belief systems.
Despite this place being a true hidden gem, it does attract visitors from all over the world.
