The Land of 10,000 Lakes might as well be called the Land of 10,000 Pizza Places. It seems that every town and city, big or small, has a pizza joint worth writing home about. Not all of these are popular enough to become well known throughout the state. But many do, and these are the spots that draw visitors from miles around. One such spot? A popular Italian restaurant called Cossetta, which serves, among other things, some of the best pizza in the state. Their pizzas were even voted best in Minnesota by WCCO viewers. Read on to learn more about this popular St. Paul pizza place:

Cossetta is a popular spot in the West 7th area of St. Paul, Minnesota. First opened by Italian-born Michael Cossetta, it has been the place for authentic Italian food for decades.

Cossetta first started as an Italian marketplace in 1911. That still holds true today! Cossetta is a great place to get quality foods to cook with at home.

Of course, Cossetta is no longer an Italian grocery store. Today, it’s a restaurant! In a cafeteria-style setting, they serve up amazing Italian food that just about everyone will adore.

Plenty of pastas are on the menu. Whether you love spaghetti, gnocchi, or any other choice, you’ll find it here. One taste of the homemade sauce, and you’ll want to go back for seconds.

The pasta is good, but Cossetta is especially famous for its pizza. They’ve been dishing it up since 1984, and it shows! Every bite is hot, cheesy perfection.

And when it’s time for dessert, head over to Pasticceria. This patisserie - in the same building - has row upon row of amazing pastries. The variety of beautiful -and delicious - treats is enough to make anyone excited to visit Cossetta!
