- Vogel Orchard (Stonewall)
Facebook/Vogel Orchards Family-owned and operated, Vogel Orchard has been offering its juicy summertime peaches since 1953. They also offer a variety of additional fresh produce, as well as homemade preserves in several different flavors.
- Jenschke Orchards (Fredericksburg)
Facebook/Jenschke Orchards We’ve written about Jenschke Orchards a handful of times, but not everyone knows the long-standing family business also has a roadside stand. Boxes range from 1/16 to half a bushel, and each customer gets to sample a peach slice before committing to a purchase.
- Hutton Peach Farm (Weatherford)
Google/Mary Hartnett Just west of Weatherford, Hutton Peach Farm is seeing a slightly more prosperous peach season than last year. Their roadside stand off U.S. 180 will be open through Labor Day, or you can get the homegrown peaches at the downtown Weatherford Farmers Market.
- Ham Orchards (Terrell)
Facebook/Ham Orchards This charming little place east of Dallas dates back four decades, when owners Judy and Dale Ham planted the first of their now 10,000 peach trees. People have been flocking to the orchard in never-before-seen numbers to stock up on the “jewels of summer.”
- Cooper Farms Peaches (Fairfield)
Facebook/Cooper Farms Peaches Cooper Farms, located in Central Texas, also operates popup stands in Waco, Conroe, and Huntsville. They’re reporting a much busier year, despite having about 50% fewer peaches than last year. The takeaway: get ’em while you still can!
- Burg’s Corner (Stonewall)
Facebook/Burg’s Corner Neighbors with Vogel, Burg’s Corner picked its first peaches of the year earlier this month. They’re seeing a great season and expect a record turnout of both peaches and customers.
