We’ve got some incredible delis in New Jersey and it’s impossible for me to choose a favorite, but one that stands out is Sandwich Time Deli & Tex-Mex in Keasbey and Avenel. It’s home to overstuffed, stacked sandwiches including an iconic 16-layer slice of heaven.
Sandwich Time’s motto is Cravings End Here, and they don’t disappoint. You’ll find a sizable selection of scrumptious eats.

For starters, the restaurant has a (not so) secret menu on Instagram. On it, you’ll find an out-of-this-world pork roll tower.

Kick the Jersey up a notch with eggs. After all, what’s pork roll without eggs and cheese on a hard roll? This is the perfect PREC.

Of course, there’s so much more. You’ll find breakfast tacos, the Big Boy Burrito, an Indian Masala omelette, Cajun chicken fajitas, salads, and several vegetarian/vegan options.

They also make party platters! Reviewers rave about this eatery, with two terrific locations currently open for pickup and delivery (available trough Door Dash). Recently, I’ve heard some hype about another massive sandwich – the Tower Burger. It’s got bacon, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and so much more.
