Elmood Park Zoo In Pennsylvania Is Livestreaming Its Adorable Giraffes

Animals just have this natural ability to lift our spirits, don’t they? Even if they’re not acting silly or showing off, they’re still just so perfect. Life in lockdown certainly has its good moments and its bad moments. When you need to get away from it all or you’re just looking for a relaxing way to spend a few minutes or a few hours, check out this zoo in Pennsylvania.

Elmwood Park Zoo may be closed to the public for the time being, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep up with some of its adorable residents, including the gentle giraffes.

That’s right. Elmwood Park Zoo welcomes virtual visitors to watch its resident giraffes (and zebras!) on their live webcam.

The webcam, which you’ll find here, goes live each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

However, there may be times when inclement weather shuts the webcam down.

If you’ve never used a webcam, you’ll find it’s really easy. In fact, you can even move the camera around to 11 different angles. That way, you can see the giraffes wherever they are.

To take control of the webcam, click on the + icon. The plus icon is in the webcam’s lower right corner.

While you’re moving the camera around, you can even snap a photo of the screen. Pretty cool, huh?
