That’s when the Great Falls Animal Shelter is holding their annual murder mystery benefit dinner, which helps raise money for the Help Us Grow Project (HUG). This event is always a blast, and as a bonus, proceeds go to a wonderful cause. If you’ve always wanted to take part in a murder mystery, here’s your chance.

Every year, the shelter hosts a murder mystery party as an ongoing fundraiser for the Help Us Grow Project (HUG).

While the murder mystery dinner is always at the Moose Lodge in Black Eagle, the theme and the plot change every year (thank goodness).

Past parties have included Murder in Margaritaland, Trailer Park Tragedy, and Murder at the Deadwood Saloon.

Great Falls Animal Shelter / Facebook Guests are encouraged to come in costume. And when you buy your ticket, you get to choose your own character if there are any left available. Who knows… you may end up being the murderer yourself.

As the evening goes on, you’ll act out the mystery and try to figure out who the guilty party is.

While you’re there, you’ll be able to bid on some great local items in the silent auction.

Sometimes, the shelter will even host a kids’ murder mystery event, which is just as adorable as it sounds.
