As things begin to open up across Kentucky, many of our favorite destinations are opening their doors once again, or in some cases, their gates. Drive-in movie theaters may seem like a thing of the past (and not just pre-Quarantine), but there are actually many of these nostalgic places scattered around the Bluegrass. And as businesses are able to open up again, drive-in movie theaters in Kentucky are starting to pop up all over the state and while they may have a few restrictions, you can still enjoy a memorable movie night from your car.

The drive-in movie is a longstanding tradition and activity in the Bluegrass on those hot summer nights.

Folks near Stanford can catch a movie at the Stanford Drive-In starting June 5th, so stay up-to-date on their Facebook Page.

The Skyline Drive-In is open and is back to playing double features.

Since many movies have been released in other ways over the past few months, you can expect to see movies such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Scoob, I Still Believe, and Trolls World Tour.

The Sauerbeck Family Drive-In in LaGrange is open and is even showing some older movies that would be a blast to see at a drive-in.
