It seems as if there are trendy new bars and restaurants popping up all over Montana. And while we think that’s fantastic, sometimes nothing tops drinking a cold beer and eating a big meal at an old-fashioned small-town bar and grill with cooks who don’t care how their food looks on Instagram. We don’t even think American Bar has an Instagram account… but if they did, it would be filled with photos of their two-headed calf.
American Bar can be found in Stockett, a tiny town of less than 200 located about 17 miles south of Great Falls.
