Maine is special for a lot of reasons, but this one might just be our favorite. If you love the roadside stands with fresh food, you’ll definitely want to give this one a shot. For a small place, they’ve got a big menu!

Dunton’s Doghouse in Boothbay Harbor has been a fixture in the community since 1972 when Ed Dunton opened up shop. He eventually passed the business to his daughter who sold it to the current owner, Gary Starankewicz, in 1999.
