Those of us who are animal lovers know that all animals – whether pets, farm animals, or wild animals – deserve to be treated with love and respect. Unfortunately, far too many animals suffer from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Those who are lucky find a lifelong safe haven, to heal and to live out their lives, at sanctuaries. This tiger sanctuary in Missouri, for example, offers a safe, nurturing place to live for big cats.

Tours of Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary is currently closed to visitors to Covid-19.

Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, in Ste. Genevieve, offers a safe haven, enriching activities, a forever home, and - perhaps most important of all - a voice for formerly abused, neglected, and abandoned tigers.

Izzy, on the other hand, spent his early years being held and pet in what’s commonly known as “cub petting.” When he grew out of the cub stage, he was destined to be euthanized until Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary saved him.
