The half-mile-long route follows the river through the town, offering visitors the chance to appreciate nature but also see and enjoy the local restaurants and shops. It begins on Riverside Drive in the west and heads to Riverglen Lane in the east.

One of our favorite stops along the way is Chutters where you’ll find the longest candy counter in the world! Load up and then hit the river walk to enjoy your sweets.

The aptly named Riverwalk Covered Bridge is a 352-foot pedestrian bridge that was built just recently in the 2000s. The views from here are simply spectacular.

The bridge connects to Saranac Street and, being a suspension bridge, it offers a fun bouncy experience. And you can see the covered bridge from a distance.
