Are you ready to try to make your own blown-glass item? Take a one-on-one class from a professional glassblowing artist.
Oregon Coast Glassworks/Facebook When you book your class, you can choose what kind of piece you’d like to make. Choose a float, paperweight, heart, inverted bowl, supersize float, sea star, lampshade, floppy bowl or vase.
Your instructor will first get the glass super hot, placing it in a 2,000-degree furnace. Then, you’ll roll the malleable glass into other colored pieces of glass to start creating your masterpiece.
