For centuries on end, humans have pondered the possibility of extraterrestrials and whether or not there is life on other planets. How is this studied and gauged? Aside from staring at the sky and looking for UFOs, no one really knows for sure. Still, nearly everyone has a theory, including what the folks at NORAD – AKA, Colorado’s very own Area 51 – really know about aliens and the like:
Established as the North American Air Defense Command in 1958, NORAD has always been a mysterious yet essential place for both the U.S. and Canada, as it was formed to keep the continent safe from any potential airspace, water, or land attacks.

Now known as the North American Aerospace Defense Command, the government organization has dramatically evolved since its Cold War days and is now rumored to not only look for human threats but those of another kind as well.

According to popular legend, NORAD - which is tucked away inside of Cheyenne Mountain and houses miles of tunnels plus 13 3-story office buildings and 2 12-story office buildings - has uncovered not only potential attacks, but also aliens, with some conspiracy theorists claiming that the bunker even has the corpses of extraterrestrial creatures.

In addition to the aliens from other planets, some have even claimed that NORAD is home to the bodies of several Bigfoot-like creatures, which explains why the Missing Link is so hard to spot and confirm.

Where did scientists and other government employees find these mysterious creatures? No one seems to know the answer, but almost every theorist can pinpoint their location now: NORAD’s Cheyenne Mountain complex.
