Here in Ohio, we have several scenic byways and countryside roads that are perfect for a lazy Sunday or weekend adventure. The Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Scenic Byway, also known as the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail, is the perfect way to take in the beauty of northern Ohio’s coast. This is one scenic drive you won’t want to pass up.

Stretching a total of 293 miles long, the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail takes you from the big city of Toledo to the small town of Conneaut.

One stop we highly recommend making is Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor. It features a short boardwalk trail, swimming beach and incredible views.
