It’s Chinese New Year, and San Antonio is celebrating in a big way. Ten floats are illuminating the River Walk every night through February 8, with lanterns shaped like moons, stars, pandas, and everything else under the sun.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, ten floats are displaying enormous lanterns for two weeks. You’ll see ferocious dragons, adorable pandas, festive pinatas, and many more objects.

You can view the nightly parade from anywhere along the River Walk. The best part is enjoying the sights with Asian-inspired music playing softly in the background.

Perhaps you’ll even see a rat in commemoration of the Chinese zodiac animal for this year. Make sure to be on the lookout!
