Disney World and Disneyland have been eerily quiet over the past few weeks since stay-at-home orders were issued in lieu of the coronavirus pandemic. What is usually such a bustling place, filled with families, children, and happiness, has been empty. Yet, even the emptiness of the park brings about a sense of beauty and stillness, especially in areas like the empty Animal Kingdom in Florida. Disney released a few rare photos of what it’s like inside the park right now, and the scenes are hauntingly beautiful. Take a look.

With a new hashtag from Disney, #DisneyMagicMoments, photos have been unearthed by both the Imagineering team and Disney Blogs showcasing a silent, still park system.

Beyond Disney shared a blog post about the empty parks, the team from Imagineering also posted the photos to their Instagram Page and captioned them, “‘It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. We are children of the world.’ From our Pandora – The World of Avatar sunrise to yours, good morning and have a magical Monday!”

The park doesn’t have a re-opening date scheduled just yet, but Disney has offered ways to still enjoy the park system through virtual rides and new merch options.
