Washington’s hiking trails are opening and ready for outdoor adventurers again, and for that we are thankful. However, for those of us who have been cooped up inside taking rather lengthy hiking breaks, it’s best to enjoy a few easy, gentle trails before attempting to tackle anything lengthy or treacherous.

The Snoqualmie region’s Lake Ingalls Trail is both of those things, and many Washingtonians will never get a chance to experience its rugged natural beauty. But thanks to the team at Nature Calls Backpacking, now we all can.

The Lake Ingalls Trail is about nine miles long (out and back), and it’s not recommended for beginners.

Since this isn’t a trail everyone can take, the team at the Nature Calls outdoor channel decided to take a 360 degree video of the entire trail.

As you can see, there are plenty of mountain goats on the trail, some of which don’t mind getting pretty close.

The Lake Ingalls Trail takes you through a number of ecosystems and from forested valleys of wildflowers to mountain peaks.

Lake Ingalls is a stunning blue body of water, set in a basin with Mount Stuart as its backdrop.
