Joseph Monahan was the original owner of the clam shack, and it has remained in the family ever since he opened it.

The views alone would be enough to sell people on a place like this… but luckily, the food happens to be delicious.

Monahan’s is well-known for their lobster rolls, which you can order both hot and cold.

Families and friends gather here each summer to feast on fried seafood in a laid back setting, taking in the views.
