You’ll have a bit of a drive - just over two hours from downtown Pittsburgh - to reach Bilger’s Rocks in Grampian. However, you’ll quickly realize the drive is well worth it.

Even if you’re not a climber, you can take a leisurely stroll or hike along one of the hiking trails, which total more than 10 miles. Each trail is marked with a color, so you’ll easily be able to find your way.

The Pink Trail, for example, spans .73 of a mile and is the shortest of the trails. If you’re up for a longer trek, set off on the Yellow Trail, which tallies 1.29 miles.

You can also bring a picnic along as you’ll find numerous picnic tables dotted throughout the park. At select times, the park’s concession stand may be open.
