The Azalea Path Botanical Garden has been a little-known feature of southwestern Indiana since 1979. It is known for its annual display of colorful flowers which give guests a place of tranquility as well as a gorgeous backdrop for photos.

There are 15 acres of native Indiana trees and 4,000 azaleas on this privately owned property that operates as a nonprofit.

Originally overgrown forest, the area has been dug out and landscaped for waterfalls, lakes, and paths so that visitors may enjoy the grounds.

General admission is $5 per person although those 5 years of age and under are admitted for free. Guided group tours are $4 per person and school field trips can be scheduled free of cost.

The gardens only operate between April 1 and June 1, after which guests will need to make an appointment to step foot on the grounds for any reason.
