If you begin along Observatory Avenue, you’ll come across a small bridge that leads you into the woods.
Alltrails/Robin Stover From there, you can continue for approximately half a mile on this trail or you can choose to take a few connected paths to make your journey longer and more diverse.
All of the trails around the park contain a variety of landscape.
Alltrails/Candice Otrembiak You’ll find wooden stairs, bridges, and after rainy weather, definitely a few muddy spots! Be sure to arrive prepared for slick conditions.
There’s one spot along these trails that will definitely take you to another world.
Alltrails/Ben Auer On the eastern edge of the trail, you’ll feel as if you’ve stumbled across a hidden gem - and you definitely have! An abandoned railroad mysteriously appears and makes you question if you’ve left Cincinnati.
The railroad bridge was active in the late 1800s and now stands as an intriguing hiking destination.
Alltrails/Heidi Bedoya The views around the bridge are stunning, but be sure to exercise caution while checking out the area.
The rest of the trail is just as magical.
Alltrails/Candice Otrembiak The trails are ideal for both a casual walk in the woods or a more intense run. While in the thick of it, you’ll be amazed at the natural oasis so close to the bustle of downtown!
Ault Park trails are perfect to visit all year long.
