When it comes to odd roadside attractions, Iowa may be the king of the country! Not only do we show off our Volkswagen Beetle Spider, but we’re also home to the world’s largest popcorn ball, the world’s largest frying pan, and a few more oddities that are larger-than-life. None of our roadside attractions are as well known and well-loved as Albert the Bull — a quirky character that lives in the town of Audubon.

Anyone who has spent time in Audubon, Iowa has spent some time with Albert the Bull! The world’s largest bull was built to represent the town and has become a huge part of the community.

Albert’s eyes were originally painted blue, but when he was repainted, they were corrected to brown.

No matter the weather, Albert the Bull is standing here in this iconic park, reminding Iowans that there’s no place like home.
