The Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic is scheduled to take place at Decatur’s Point Mallard Park on May 23-24, 2020. It’s a great event for all ages, and admission is free.

In 1978, this family-friendly festival began, which means this will be its 43rd year. Because this annual event has become quite popular over the years, the city of Decatur is often referred to as the “Ballooning Capital of Alabama.”
