As time continues to pass and we find ourselves still combatting the COVID-19 pandemic, you’ll find that people all across the state of New York are learning to live a new way of life. While not all of our state’s regions have gotten the okay to begin opening back up, but a recent announcement was made that New Yorkers would be able to enjoy the family-friendly attraction that we know as the drive-in movie theater. Well, you may have gone to a drive-in theater before, but we can promise you that you’ve experienced nothing like the unique festival that headed our way this summer – take a look!
Truly unlike any other drive-in movie theater or event that you’ve ever attended, the Uptown Drive-In festival is coming to New York this summer and you simply cannot miss it.

Happening right in the parking lot of Yankee Stadium, the Uptown Drive-In festival will be New York’s newest fun and safe way to socially distance during the summertime.

Beginning in July, each weekend during the summer the Uptown Drive-In will takeover the Yankee Stadium parking lot to host a combination of a drive-in movie theater, a live music concert, and festival all in one.

Each weekend, local musicians and artists from all around New York City will be featured to play their music on elevated stage that can be seen from your car, while also offering on-site live interactive games, raffles, giveaways, and yes - carside dinner service!

According to the latest updates and reports, the Uptown Drive-In is set to also have family-friendly brunches during the day on Saturdays and Sundays, while at night they’ll have date-night experiences offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. How fun?
