There are times when summer feels so far away. Usually, it’s in the middle of a snowstorm during a rough winter or it’s just before the warm weather starts. Somehow we’re the most antsy for summer when it’s almost here. That’s why today we’re making our list of summer adventures to have when it’s time. - Take the ferry to Isles of Shoals.

From Portsmouth you can take the ferry to Star Island, where you’ll find incredible views of the lighthouse and maybe even some animal friends. Keep your eyes peeled for seals! - Take the Mountain Coaster at Attitash Mountain, Bartlett
Attitash Ski Resort / Facebook What looks like a thrilling ride is actually great for all ages. The (almost) 3,000-foot ride zips through the forest at speeds of up to 25 miles-per-hour. But, don’t worry about going too fast. You’re always in control of the speed. You can learn more here.

- Stroll through the Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, Jefferson
