It will be visible from many places around the globe in addition to Illinois and is the third and final supermoon of the year. The next one will not occur until April 2021.

This full moon is known as the Flower Moon or Corn Planting Moon by Native Americans and signifies the beginning of spring and a general good time to plant or begin new things.
