We love sharing all of the great dining spots around the Beehive State with our readers, and we feel like we could feature new places every week and never run out of restaurant recommendations. Still…we have to admit that we do have a few favorites. These places are just a few of the tried-and-true dining venues that we go back to again and again; the restaurants we always recommend to out-of-town guests.
This list of 13 restaurants runs the gamut, from a humble diner, to a hip brunch spot, to an expensive French restaurant where peacocks wander around the beautifully-manicured grounds. If you’ve lived in Utah for very long, you’ve probably heard of all of them, but if you haven’t visited yet, make plans to do so in 2020!
*These restaurants aren’t ranked, they’re presented alphabetically, because there’s no way we could possibly decide which one are the best!
- Angie’s, Logan

Sarah Butler/Google Angie’s is proof that you don’t need to get all fancy to enjoy a great meal. It’s a no-frills cafe in Logan, and it serves up delicious diner food, but its most famous item is Angie’s Kitchen Sink. This ice cream confection consists of 2/3 of a gallon of vanilla ice cream, two whole bananas, up to three toppings, whipped cream, and cherries. Owners Blake Spaulding and Jen Castle have created an icon with their creative recipes and fresh ingredients, many of which are grown on the restaurant’s very own farm.
